1. Introduction
I'll outline some of the main challenges that jobseekers have when it comes to working with recruiters, and set the scene for developing your understanding how recruiters work, and how you can get them to start prioritizing you as a top candidate.

2. What is a Recruitment Agency?
We all have an idea about what recruiters do, but how much do we really know about them? In Module 2, I'll explain what recruitment agencies are and what they do, and explore their relationships with their clients, revealing who really is in charge!

3. What type of Agency is right for me?
There are various different types of recruitment agency, and it's important to know which ones are best suited to helping you. Here, I will talk you through in detail the 3 main types of recruitment agency, as well as discussing why and when you should use each of them.

4. What Recruiters really want
The biggest cause of a relationship breakdown between candidates and recruiters is a misunderstanding of what the other is looking for. A recruiter's goals aren't the same as your goals. So to get your recruiter to help you, you need to know what does motivate them.

5. How to choose the right Recruiter for you
The quality of recruiters varies greatly, even within an agency. It's not enough to choose a suitable agency with a good reputation, you must also make sure that the individual recruiter you meet at that agency is the right person to represent you in your job search.

6. How many Agencies should I be working with?
More is not always better. Working with too many agencies can be counter-productive to your chances of securing interviews. In this module, I break down each of the main types of agency and, for each type, tell you how many you should be engaging with at any one time.

7. Contacting a Recruiter for the first time
Recruiters get dozens, often hundreds, of emails from jobseekers everyday, so it's essential that yours stands out in a positive way. Here I will tell you when and how you should be initiating contact with a recruiter.

8. Meeting your Recruiter
Whether face-to-face or via phone/video, your first meeting with your recruiter is critical. If you impress, the recruiter will start prioritizing you as one of their top candidates but, if you don't impress, you're highly unlikely to be presented with many good roles by that agency.

9. Attending Interviews
It can be a huge advantage to interview with an employer via a recruitment agency, as opposed to interviewing having just applied to the employer directly. Here, I discuss why that is, and what you should be finding out from your recruiter before your client interview.

10. How to avoid delays in the process
When you're trying to find a great new job, the last thing you want are unnecessary delays in the recruitment process. In module 10, I will talk you through what you can do to reduce and, in many cases, eliminate unnecessary delays in finding and starting your new role.

11. How to communicate successfully with your Recruiter
With the exception of work ethic, nothing will have a greater impact on your career success than your ability to communicate effectively. That also applies to having success with recruiters.
